Regular Season Round 15: Vardar - Titan 79-70

Very important is a loss of TurkishTitan (2-2) against twenty third ranked North Macedonian Vardar (6-2) on Saturday night. Titan unexpectedly was defeated by 70-79 . Vardar was already 17 points ahead after 3 quarters before a 26-18 Titan's run in the last quarter cut the lead to 79-70 at the end of the game. Vardar dominated on the defensive end, holding Titan to just 7 points in second quarter. They also forced 24 Titan turnovers. Titan was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for Sinisa Trpcevic who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 14 rebounds. Vojdan Cadinovski accounted for 19 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Four Vardar players scored in double figures. Ada Kirik came up with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 10 rebounds and Kerem Sen added 8 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Titan in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Despite that victory Vardar went down to 48th position due to points difference, which they share with BC Nokia and Fryshuset. Titan at the other side dropped to the second place with two games lost. They share the position with 7 other teams.
